Class Schedule: Wednesdays evenings (On-Campus Only), Time: 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM
Course Duration: 30 Weeks (Term holidays in between) | 3 terms
Course Ends: June 2027
Location: Golden Mosque, 8 Lower Sheriff St, Rochdale, OL12 6TG
Course Overview:
On successful completion of the course students will receive a certificate of attendance.

Course Overview:
- Term 1: Foundations of Purity & Islamic History
- Dates: September 16 – December 2
- Focus: Ascent to Felicity (Purification) & History from the Four Caliphs, Umayyads, to Ottomans.
- Key Topics:
- Detailed rulings on Tahara (Wudhu, Ghusl, and physical purity).
- Outer purity as a means to spiritual elevation.
- Wisdom and key milestones from Islamic history.
- Term 2: Deepening Your Prayer & Understanding the Quran
- Dates: December 9 – March 31
- Focus: Ascent to Felicity (Prayer & Fasting) & Tafseer of Surah al-Waqi’ah.
- Key Topics:
- Fiqh of Daily Prayer (Salah), Fasting (Sawm), and Zakat al-Fitr.
- Cultivating focus and presence (Khushu’) in worship.
- Verse-by-verse reflections on Surah al-Waqi’ah regarding provision, accountability, and the Hereafter.
- Term 3: Worship, Wealth & Prophetic Character
- Dates: April 21 – June 20
- Focus: Advanced Prayer Rulings, Zakat, & Imam al-Nawawi’s 40 Hadith.
- Key Topics:
- Prayer rules for travel, illness, and special circumstances.
- Correct calculation and distribution of Zakat to purify wealth.
- Core Islamic principles and character refinement via Al-Arba’een An-Nawawiyyah.

Welcome Pack:
On the first day of the course, we have prepared a welcome pack for each student. The welcome pack includes Term 1 Course Booklets, pen, notebook, tote bag and a bookmark to support your learning journey. Please arrive at the centre 10 minutes early to collect your welcome pack and settle in before the class begins.

Cancellations & Refunds
If a student decides to withdraw from the course, then notification of this withdrawal must be received by the administration. Refund guidelines are outlined below:
Notice received at least 2 weeks before course starts - 95% Refund
Notice received within 2 weeks of course starting - 75% Refund
Notice received within 4 weeks of course starting - 50% refund
Notice received after 4 weeks of course starting - no refund available
