A unique course combining the lives fo selected prophets, leading up to the life of our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. We will then take a look at the life of some of the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ.
Stories from The Straight Path
The first part of the course covers the lives of some of the prophets such as Adam, Nuh, Ibrahim, Yusuf, Musa and Isa, peace be upon them all. We will learn the challenges they faced and how the faith they had was the same tradition that Islam came to confirm.
In the second part, the course covers the biography of our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. We learn about his early life, travels and marriage. We then take a look at his ﷺ mission covering 23 years of struggle, starting with the first revelation in the cave of Hira to his demise in al-Madinah.
The third instalment takes us through the lives of the Companions, how they embraced Islam wholeheartedly and how they continued living and spreading the message of Islam after the Prophet's passing.

Shaykh Waseem Ahmed
|
Shaykh Waseem is the chairperson for ISNAD Institute and Director of the community initiative, Guidance Hub in Manchester, UK. He spent several years in Damascus, Syria, studying the Islamic sciences with scholars in public and private classes as well as graduating from Al-Dawli Institute in 2012.
Upon his return to the UK in late 2012, Shaykh Waseem began disseminating sacred knowledge and founded a number of projects which focused on outreach work for the community. He has been teaching the sacred texts, especially Arabic language works, over the last few years to students privately, alongside teaching the ISNAD syllabus and delivering lectures around the UK.
