Pathway to Alimiyyah 
Course Details

You’ve studied a little. You’ve taken steps.

You’ve tasted what Islamic knowledge feels like.

And now…

You’re wondering what comes next.

Because deep down, you know Islamic knowledge was never meant to stay surface-level.

It’s meant to be explored, questioned, lived, and passed on.

This 3-year programme is your opportunity to build something solid.

Not just for yourself but for your family, your community, and your akhirah.

Pathway to Alimiyyah is rigorous 3-year Islamic Studies programme.

For students ready to take serious steps toward Islamic scholarship whether for personal growth, future teaching, or preparation for full-time ’Ālimiyyah studies.

What You’ll Study:

Aqeedah (Beliefs)
  • Year 1: Muqaddimat Imam al-Sanusi, Umm al-Barahin (Imam al-Sanusi), al-Fiqh al-Akbar (Imam Abu Hanifa)
  • Year 2: Jawharat al-Tawheed (Imam Ibrahim al-Laqani)
  • Year 3: Theology & contemporary issues

Fiqh (Hanafi Jurisprudence)
  • Years 1–2: Nur al-Idah wa Najat al-Arwah (includes purification, prayer, fasting, zakah, hajj)
  • Year 3: Mukhtasar al-Quduri (focus on family law & financial transactions)

Tasawwuf (Spirituality)
  • Bidayat al-Hidayah (al-Ghazali), Knowledge & Wisdom (Imam al-Haddad), 40 Principles (Imam al-Ghazali), Adab al-Suhbah (Imam al-Sha'rani)

Seerah & Prophetic Character
  • The Life of the Chosen One, Shama’il, Our Master Muhammad ﷺ

Tafsir (Qur’anic Exegesis)
  • Usul al-Tafsir + selected Qur’anic summaries

Hadith (Prophetic Traditions)
  • Arba’īn-e-Hanafiyyah, Riyadh al-Salihin, Mishkat al-Masabih

Arabic Language
  • Sarf (Morphology)
  • Nahw (Grammar/Syntax)

Who Is This For?

This course is for Muslim men and women (16+) who are serious about gaining traditional knowledge in a structured, long-term format.

You're the right fit if:

You’ve completed foundational studies or regular Islamic classes

You can read the Qur’an

You’re committed to showing up, taking notes, and reflecting deeply

You’re seeking clarity in your deen and potentially, a future in teaching it

Requirements:

Minimum age: 16
Completed GCSEs (or equivalent)
Able to communicate in English
Prior learning: At least 2 of the following --
  • A foundational Islamic studies course
  • Regular Islamic learning for 1+ year
  • Qur’an reading ability

How It Works:

Duration: 3 years Taught by experienced scholars with a chain of transmission (isnad)
Periodic assessments contributing to final grade
Certificate upon successful completion

  • Have a strong foundation in Aqeedah, Fiqh, Hadith, Tafsir, and more
  • Be able to lead Islamic circles and contribute to your community
