This comprehensive exploration of the Quran delves into the profound insights and interpretations offered by scholars through the ages. This opportunity is now within reach through the new full-year course on Quranic commentary. The course is designed to provide a deep understanding of tafsir, focusing on surahs such as Yasin, Kahf, Yusuf, and many others, including an in-depth study of the science of Tafsir.
Tafsir, or the exegesis of the Quran, goes beyond mere translation. It involves uncovering the historical context, linguistic nuances, and the lessons embedded within the verses, making it a truly enriching and enlightening experience for anyone seeking to deepen their understanding of the Quran. Our aim is to facilitate the study of Sacred Knowledge in a traditional way, giving students the opportunity to benefit from the company and instruction of teachers with a chain of transmission linking back to our noble Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. All the texts taught on this course have been distilled from the most authentic classical Islamic sources, as well as authoritative contemporary research.
On successful completion of the course students will receive a certificate of attendance.

Course Structure
Exploring the Qur'an classes, Saturday aftenoons (On-Campus or Distance Learning available), time: 12:30pm - 1:30pm. Course Duration: 32 Weeks.
- Introduction & Science of Tafsir (Quranic Exegesis)
- Comprehensive Tafsir Surah Yasin
- Comprehensive Tafsir Surah Yusuf
- Comprehensive Tafsir Surah al-Kahf
If you are unable to attend our onsite classes we have an online learning option available for this course. The online option allows you to attend the class Live on Zoom and wacthback after the class has finished.

Our teachers are native English speakers born in the United Kingdom. They regularly travel across the country to convey traditional Islamic knowledge, which they have learnt from their teachers, who learnt from their teachers with an unbroken chain all the way back to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
